For Borkum Leuchtfeuer Touristik, 2025 was not a year that simply happened. It was a year that took shape. Step by step, sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly, often challenging, and always driven by people who were willing to take on responsibility and build something together. A year that showed just how much is possible when an idea turns into genuine collaboration. <\/p>

New Teams, New Paths, Growing Together<\/h2>

At the start of the year, many things were just getting underway. With the Inselhof and the Seehotel, new properties, new teams, new processes, and new challenges all came together. People who had barely known each other before grew closer in a short time, learned from one another, and found their place within a larger whole. <\/p>

It was a start that required courage, openness, and trust. Not everything clicked right away, but that\u2019s exactly what gave rise to something special: a shared understanding, a new sense of unity, and the realization that something sustainable can grow out of nothing when people take responsibility and stand up for one another. <\/p>

Summer and a Place Full of Life<\/h2>

This summer, the Upholm Farm became another place that symbolizes this year. In no time at all, what had been a major challenge turned into a lively gathering place. The beer garden and restaurant were once again filled with life, music, conversation, and laughter. Children ran around the grounds, and guests lingered longer. The Upholm-Hof once again became a place where a sense of community was palpable. With the alpaca farm from Annis Herz Alpaka, an experience emerged that touched\u2014and at the same time surprised\u2014children, families, and everyone else. <\/p>

Moments of Solitude That Bring Us Together<\/h2>

2025 was full of moments that brought people together. The new pirate playground at Bloemfontein made children\u2019s eyes light up and quickly became a gathering place for families. Collaborations like the soccer camp hosted by the 1. FC K\u00f6ln Soccer School showed just how much enthusiasm is generated when partners come together. Summertainment, organized in collaboration with the Strandhotel Hohenzollern, brought thousands of people together and demonstrated what\u2019s possible when many pull together. Music, connections, beaming faces, and an evening that left a lasting impression. <\/p>

Sports, Exercise, and New Connections<\/h2>

New connections were also forged in the world of sports. During the Beach Days, beach volleyball teams stayed at the Seehotel and Miramar. Encounters, conversations, and collaborations\u2014including with Kira Walkenhorst\u2014laid the foundation for a partnership that extends far beyond this year. <\/p>

Amid all the big moments, there were also quieter ones that were just as important. The yoga retreat at the Seehotel, organized by Christian Dohle, provided space for mindful moments, for settling in, and for connecting with others. It was a weekend that showed just how valuable it is to allow for quiet moments alongside physical activity and socializing. <\/p>

The Heart of the BLT<\/h2>

This was particularly evident in 2025 within BLT\u2014in the teams, in our interactions, and in the way we work together. The Season Opening and Season Closing events clearly demonstrated how much our community has grown. New colleagues joined us, roles changed, and processes continued to evolve. And yet, the core remained the same. <\/p>

Appreciation, closeness, and the awareness that each individual is part of something greater. The fact that management serves food and drinks themselves at company parties has long been more than just a gesture. It is an expression of an attitude that has defined this year. <\/p>

This is particularly evident in the employees’ comments this year: enthusiasm about our growth, respect for the challenges we face, and pride in what we have achieved together. Many describe 2025 as intense, moving, challenging, and at the same time fulfilling. A year in which we didn’t just work, but also helped shape things. Both professionally and personally.<\/p>

The end of the year brought it all together once again. The White Ocean New Year’s Eve party brought together guests, employees, and islanders for an evening filled with lighthearted fun, music, and shared joy. A moment that epitomizes this year. Celebrating together, looking back together, and looking ahead together.<\/p>

A Year to Remember<\/h2>

2025 was a year of change. A year that emerged out of nowhere and showed just how much strength lies in trust, dedication, and genuine collaboration.<\/p>

Armed with all this experience, BLT moves forward. Grateful for what has grown, proud of the people behind the houses, and full of anticipation for everything that is yet to come.<\/p>
